The B&B “A Piazza del Gesù” on the right and the Guest House “A Via dei Pellegrini” on the left, form the two side wings of the church and are about thirty meters apart, creating a real widespread hotel.
The Ascenzi family has owned and resided in these two buildings for over two centuries. The family has preserved the historical features of the buildings and maintained them with constant restoration work up to the current accommodation destinations. The construction dates back to the early 1000s, in the middle Middle Ages, when the construction of the church, one of the oldest in the city, began, and then continued with building changes in subsequent eras.
The two private gardens are the real characterizing elements of the two structures and represent an almost unique context in the heart of the historic city center. The union between the green of the urban garden and the gray of the Viterbo stone, combined with the light tones of the interiors in stylistic continuity designed by the architect Raffaele Ascenzi, generates a strong energy and wants to be the main objective of sharing with guests.
Entering the two houses it is easy to perceive the stories that these residences have preserved over time, becoming the meeting point of the family, often active in city life and always involved in agricultural activities in the Viterbo countryside.
Our bed and breakfast gives particular attention to details, to offer you a pleasant awakening. Breakfast is included in the price.
